Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 29, 2026
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. The website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard generally used under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The website is tested regularly, but it hasn’t been formally audited, and some pages may not yet fully meet the standard. When we find a problem, we fix it.
What’s in place
- Text and background colors are checked for contrast against WCAG AA.
- Pages work with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- Pages use clear headings and landmarks for screen readers, and form fields have labels.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content, and the layout adapts to phones and tablets.
- Key pages are checked with automated accessibility testing (axe) and by hand, and again when the website changes.
Known limitations
This statement covers this website. Camper sign-up, volunteer applications and giving happen in our team portal (portal.cities4kids.com), which is a separate site. Some content comes from other services, such as Stripe, and its accessibility depends on those providers. If anything is hard to use, please tell us and we’ll fix it or get you the information another way.
Contact for accessibility
If you have trouble using any part of this website, or need information in another format, please use our contact form, or message us on Facebook or Instagram. The website doesn’t show an email address or phone number. Is there one we should list for privacy and accessibility questions? Tell us the page and what went wrong. We’ll reply within 5 business days.
